AANP announces details for 2026 national conference in Las Vegas and online

The American Association of Nurse Practitioners announced on June 16 that the 2026 AANP National Conference will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, from June 23 to June 27. The event will be held at The Venetian Convention and Expo Center, with both in-person and on-demand options available for attendees.

The organization recommends downloading the AANP Mobile App before attending. Through the app, participants can access the full conference schedule, session handouts, speaker details, and submit electronic evaluations to receive continuing education credit. Registration opens on Monday, June 22, from 4-8 p.m., followed by a Welcome Reception at the Palazzo Ballroom later that evening.

The Opening General Session is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, from 8-9 a.m., featuring keynote speaker Victoria Labalme. Labalme said, “I believe inside of each person is hidden genius — a full spectrum of gifts and talents — and the more we tap into that range of our capabilities, the more expanded and fulfilled our lives will be. I’d also add that each NP’s legacy will live on long after they are gone. And each person they interact with in turn touches the lives of someone else.”

Attendees can choose from over 330 sessions and workshops during the conference. The Exhibit Hall opens Thursday afternoon with booths from health care organizations as well as industry poster presentations, a career fair, and opportunities for members to renew memberships or learn about running for elected office. On Friday morning there will be a Legislative Policy Update addressing state and local issues affecting nurse practitioners.

For those unable to attend in person, an on-demand version offers access to recorded sessions starting July 7 through August 25; registration closes July 28 at midnight Eastern Time. On-demand participants may earn up to 75 contact hours of continuing education credit.

Additional information about attractions in Las Vegas is available through the city’s official website. Attendees are encouraged to use #AANP26 when posting about their experiences.
