This year is expected to be busy for professionals in the ear, nose, and throat (ENT) and audiology fields, with a number of major conferences scheduled. The British Academic Conference in Otolaryngology (BACO), considered the UK's main ENT event, will take place in Glasgow in July. The upcoming March/April 2026 issue of ENT & Audiology News will feature contributions from several BACO keynote speakers.
Rebecca Howell is one of the conference's highlighted speakers. She has been leading research on managing pharyngeal pouch, also known as Zenker’s diverticulum. According to the release: "She is passionate about helping patients with swallowing disorders, so her talk at BACO promises to be a highlight. She outlines some of the main issues for this edition."
The next supplement from ENT & Audiology News will focus on laryngology and snoring and will be guest-edited by Natalie Watson. Industry partners interested in advertising are encouraged to reach out.
The largest European meeting for this field, CEORL-HNS, is set for April in Gothenburg. In staff updates, Rhian Lewis has left her position after many years with the magazine: "We wish her all the very best and we sincerely thank her for her wonderful work over the years." Nova McMillan has taken over as sales executive: "Nova (left) has taken over from Rhian (right) as sales executive on ENT & Audiology News." McMillan has worked at Pinpoint previously and will attend CEORL-HNS alongside Rosaleen Shine and Declan Costello.
