Joseph DiConcetto, MD, has joined Specialty Physician Associates in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Dr. DiConcetto completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Moravian College and began his medical training as a Pre-Med major at Pennsylvania State University. He earned his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital in Philadelphia in 1978.
Dr. DiConcetto undertook a rotating internship at Presbyterian University of Pennsylvania Medical Center before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. In 1983, he finished a fellowship focused on Asthma and Immunology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He later obtained certification in Medical Acupuncture from New York Medical College in 1999.
He is dual board-certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology. His clinical focus includes diagnosing and treating allergies, asthma, and immunologic conditions. Dr. DiConcetto is also an active member of several professional organizations: the Pennsylvania Medical Society, American College of Physicians, American Academy of Allergy & Immunology, and the Pennsylvania Allergy Association.
