The Centers for Advanced ENT Care, Metro ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery Division, has announced that Dr. Jennifer Goodrich has joined its physician team.
Dr. Goodrich is originally from Frederick, Maryland. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Ursinus College, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and later received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2008.
After medical school, Dr. Goodrich was commissioned into the U.S. Navy and completed a five-year residency in Otolaryngology at the National Capital Consortium in 2013. She then practiced general otolaryngology with the Navy in Japan between 2013 and 2016.
She went on to complete a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship under Dr. Brian Wong at the University of California, Irvine from 2016 to 2018. During this fellowship, she specialized in reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries including lasers, injectables, complex rhinoplasty, oculoplastics, and aging face procedures.
Upon returning to Maryland, Dr. Goodrich served as the Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon for the D.C. metro area with the U.S. Navy from 2018 to 2023. While at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center during this period, she was Chair of the Otolaryngology Department for two years and worked with residents in otolaryngology, oral surgery, and ophthalmology. Her specialties included complex rhinoplasty, oculoplastics, Moh’s reconstruction, and facial feminization surgery.
Dr. Goodrich left military service in 2023 after nearly sixteen years and is now practicing full-spectrum facial plastic surgery in Montgomery County.
