American Conference Institute launches inaugural Healthcare AI Summit in New York

The American Conference Institute (ACI), a part of C5 Group Inc., will hold its first Healthcare AI Summit on February 26–27, 2026, at the New York City Bar Association in New York. The summit aims to address legal, regulatory, and compliance challenges that arise as artificial intelligence becomes more integrated into healthcare.

The event is set to gather professionals from various sectors, including healthcare providers, regulators, in-house counsel, MedTech innovators, and external advisors. Topics will include how AI is transforming clinical decision support and diagnostics while also introducing new regulatory and data privacy concerns.

Speakers at the summit include Vid Desai, former Chief Information Officer of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), who will discuss the agency’s use of generative AI tools such as Elsa. Dr. Girish N. Nadkarni, Chief AI Officer at Mount Sinai Health System, will provide insights on using AI in clinical care from a provider’s perspective.

Other participants represent organizations such as DeepLook Medical, Northwell Health, Medtronic, Digital Diagnostics, Summit Health, Siemens Healthineers, Xsolis, Viz.ai, Hackensack Meridian Health among others.

Program highlights feature a two-part focus on FDA regulatory pathways for AI-enabled medical devices and the agency's use of generative AI for product reviews. Additional sessions will cover governance strategies to manage bias and cybersecurity risks in AI systems; data privacy and HIPAA compliance related to AI-driven tools; global developments like the EU AI Act; and physician-focused discussions about liability when using AI in patient care.

Marissa Fayer, CEO of DeepLook Medical and co-chair of the event said: “AI is an emerging and continuously shifting sector of the healthcare industry. We need discussions and conferences like this to ensure regulatory, legal, and business leaders understand the most current information and the impact it can have for them and their customers.”

Bethany Hills of White & Case LLP echoed this view: “AI in healthcare is advancing faster than the legal frameworks that govern it. Bringing experts together now is critical to ensure regulation keeps pace with innovation while safeguarding patients.”

The summit will take place February 26–27 at the New York City Bar Association. Registration details are available at AmericanConference.com/HealthcareAI or by phone at 888-224-2480.
