Baylor College of Medicine has announced changes to its Board of Advisors, including the appointment of new leadership and six new members from various sectors. The Board of Advisors is a non-fiduciary group that collaborates with Baylor’s Board of Trustees to offer guidance and support for the college’s strategic goals.
Lisa Bordelon, senior vice president at Lockton, and Kelly Hackett, managing director and head of the Family Office division at Tectonic Advisors, will serve as co-chairs of the Board. Their role will focus on helping Baylor advance its efforts in education, research, and healthcare.
Six business and community leaders have been added to the board. Dr. Paul Klotman, president, CEO, and executive dean of Baylor College of Medicine said: “These leaders bring remarkable expertise across industries ranging from healthcare to energy and finance. By bringing together diverse perspectives, we ensure that Baylor continues to be a place where discovery translates into solutions that improve lives everywhere.”
The appointments are part of ongoing efforts by Baylor College of Medicine to strengthen its leadership team with experience from different fields.
