Saharan dust plume prompts health guidance from American Lung Association

As a massive dust cloud from the Sahara nears the Southeast, the American Lung Association has issued advice to help residents protect their health. Inhaled particles can exacerbate or lead to coughing, wheezing, lower respiratory tract infections, lung diseases, and cardiovascular issues.
