Baylor College of Medicine has announced the addition of nine new members to its Board of Advisors. This non-fiduciary group collaborates with the College's Board of Trustees, offering guidance and support for the institution's strategic objectives.
The newly appointed members are business and community leaders dedicated to Baylor's mission of advancing education, healthcare, and community service on both local and global scales.
Dr. Paul Klotman, president, CEO, and executive dean of Baylor College of Medicine, expressed his enthusiasm about working with the new advisors. "I look forward to working with the newest members of the Board of Advisors to Baylor College of Medicine," he stated. "Their experience, perspectives and leadership will help guide the College as we continue to advance medical education, research and healthcare innovation around the world."
Melanie Gray and Fred Lummis, who are also Baylor Trustees, serve as co-chairs of the Board of Advisors alongside newly appointed co-chair Lisa Bordelon. The Executive Committee is further comprised of Baylor Trustees David Baldwin, Christopher Sarofim, Marc Shapiro, Chuck Watson, and Dr. Norbert Bischofberger.
