Baylor Medicine Orthopedics and Sports Medicine has announced the opening of a new clinic at Chasewood Park, near the Vintage Hospital in Houston. This facility is now accepting new patients for general orthopedics and foot/ankle care. Dr. Jet Liu, an assistant professor in the Joseph Barnhart Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, will be practicing at this location. He is known for his expertise in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery.
The clinic provides both non-operative and surgical treatments for various conditions affecting bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves. Surgeries for patients seen at this clinic will take place at Vintage Hospital. St. Luke's Health – The Vintage Hospital is recognized nationally for its quality care in Northwest Houston communities such as Willowbrook, Champions, and Tomball. It offers advanced diagnostic and surgical services with 102 licensed beds.
Dr. Douglas Dirschl, professor and chair of the Joseph Barnhart Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Baylor, expressed enthusiasm about expanding their orthopedic care to Northwest Houston: “We are extremely pleased to be extending Baylor Medicine orthopedic care to Northwest Houston communities.
