Dr. Gregory Pippin is a highly respected otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon at ENT & Allergy of New Orleans, based in Marrero. He specializes in head and neck surgery and is fellowship-trained in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
According to ENT & Allergy of New Orleans’ website, Dr. Pippin is certified as both an otolaryngologist and a facial plastic surgeon. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, before going on to continue his medical education at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. It was here that he met his wife and laid the foundations for a career. After his residency at UVA Medical Center, he completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Atlanta‘s Emory University before he and his wife returned to New Orleans and started their practice.
“Our practice is focused on patients’ needs, and we're very much focused on the experience,” Dr. Pippin told Patient Daily. “We're trying to elevate the patient experience, and we're also able to provide superior, top-notch care. So from that standpoint, we want the total experience from start to finish to be positive and productive.”
According to Dr. Pippin, sinus and nasal disorders are among the most common health issues in the United States, with roughly 40-50% of all urgent care and ER visits related to ENT problems. These conditions often lead to chronic issues such as obstructed breathing, poor sleep, and diminished quality of life. Dr. Pippin has made it his mission to address these challenges head-on and his practice offers innovative treatments like in-office sinus dilation, which not only alleviates the symptoms of chronic sinus conditions but also dramatically improves patients' sleep and overall well-being.
“It’s just so amazing to see how people’s quality of life improves after you’re able to treat their chronic conditions,” Dr. Pippin said.
After moving to New Orleans to start his practice, Dr. Pippin has developed a deep affection for the city, especially its food.
“You know I'm blessed. I live in New Orleans,” Dr. Pippin said. “I'm kind of biased, but I think New Orleans has the best restaurants in the world. If you ever come to New Orleans, I highly recommend you go to Mr. Bees on Royal Street. It is just off-the-charts phenomenal.”
Beyond his expertise in otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery, Dr. Pippin was also named one of the best sleep specialists in New Orleans by Kev’s Best, a trusted online review site that highlights top professionals in various fields. ENT & Allergy of New Orleans was also one of the first centers in the U.S. to offer in-office balloon sinuplasty, a minimally invasive procedure that can help address chronic sinusitis.
Dr. Pippin currently holds a 5.0 rating on Google Reviews on over 300 reviews.
