Matt Hershcovitch is an award-winning ENT (ear, nose and throat doctor) specialist who practices out of Burbank, California. According to Dr. Hershcovitch, the SoCal Breathe Free Sinus Allergy Center focuses on minimally invasive nasal and sinus surgeries.

Dr. Hershcovitch said his passion for medicine began during his college years at MIT, where he initially studied electrical engineering. While working part-time as a medic, he found the experience far more satisfying than his engineering studies. While attending medical school, he developed a keen interest in the ENT field and head and neck surgery, leading him to specialize in nasal and sinus surgery.
While he completed his residency in Cincinnati doing ear, nose and throat, head neck surgery, he also pursued his interest in plastic surgery and was able to complete a fellowship at Stanford University, training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, after which he began his practice in Los Angeles.
“It is very delicate, very intricate, and very complex, but in a way beautiful,” Dr. Hershcovitch said about the ENT field. “The procedures that we are trained to do greatly improve the quality of life, so it’s a very rewarding and satisfying field and I realized this in medical school and decided to pursue it as a career.”
