Mayo Clinic Platform expands global footprint of its distributed data network

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Mayo Clinic Platform continues to expand its distributed data network, Mayo Clinic Platform_Connect1, which now includes eight of the world's leading health systems across three continents: Seoul National University Hospital, SingHealth, and UC Davis Health, among others. These partnerships aim to revolutionize healthcare by leveraging de-identified clinical data to enhance patient care and drive innovation in healthcare solutions.

Mayo Clinic's President and CEO, Gianrico Farrugia, expressed the significance of these collaborations, stating, "As we deliver on our goal of transforming healthcare, these partnerships will lead to more innovation, more collaboration, more answers, and more hope for those in need as we continue to build something that has never existed before in healthcare: a platform with truly global reach."

Similarly, Professor Lim Soon Thye from SingHealth expressed excitement about the partnership, aiming to unlock new insights and optimize clinical impact and outcomes for patients in Singapore and beyond.

UC Davis Health's Chief Information Officer, Ashish Atreja, echoed this enthusiasm, stating that the collaboration with Mayo Clinic will support research, innovation, and the ethical development of AI-powered healthcare on a global scale.
