Fiagon North America VP lauds 'encouraging and successful' American Rhinologic Society sinus symposium

Fiagon North America Vice President Matt Jones lauded the "encouraging and successful" Summer Sinus Symposium, hosted in Las Vegas, Nev. last month by the American Rhinologic Society (ARS).

The 12th annual symposium was held July 13-15 at the Park MGM/NoMad Hotel.

"Even the Las Vegas summer heat could not deter or hinder a successful ARS meeting," Jones said. "Floor traffic and meeting participation was positive including genuine participation and engagement with vendors. We observed continued interest and expansion in office practice management lectures and panels showing further growth in this market segment. Overall an encouraging and successful meeting."

The ARS Summer Sinus Symposium (ARS SSS) included networking events, exhibitors, and educational forums, according to their exhibitor guide. It also mentioned that since the beginning of the ARS SSS, it has focused on providing valuable insights into clinical practices, safe and effective sinonasal procedures, and advice on diagnosing and managing nasal/sinus conditions. 

This year, the ARS SSS had about 30 exhibitors, according to its exhibitor guide. Some of them consisted of H F Hemostasis Fiagon, ID Medical Devices LLC, Medtronic, Olympus America Inc., Acclarent, ModMed, and Stryker, just to name a few.

According to its website, The American Rhinologic Society is a growing organization that represents Rhinologists from both community-based and university-based settings all around the globe. It noted that association partners with various healthcare organizations to ensure effective advocacy for their members.
