Events for those living with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) have been scheduled at locations across the United States, the American Autoimmune and Related Diseases Association announced.
PBC is a chronic liver ailment that can result in cirrhosis through progressive damage to bile ducts.
The events will allow attendees to learn from certified nurse educators, to hear from other patients about diagnosis and living with PBC, and to understand how to empower themselves through resources, knowledge and the ability to be proactive about PBC.
Locations for events include New Orleans on Nov. 8, Omaha, Neb., on Nov. 9, Baltimore on Nov. 13, St. Louis on Nov. 16, Kansas City, Mo., on Nov. 29, Hershey, Penn., on Nov. 30, Dallas on Dec. 6, and Hartford, Conn., on Dec. 7.
