Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center has new chief financial officer

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina recently appointed longtime team member Bradley Clark as its new executive vice president and chief financial officer as well as to continue as the organization’s treasurer.

Clark will take on his new responsibilities effective immediately, a medical center release said. He replaces Chad Eckes, who departed in June. Clark will report directly to CEO Julie Ann Freischlag.

Clark, who has worked at the center for the past 15 years, is already familiar with the organization’s business services, facilities, corporate revenue cycle, managed care, financial services, accounting, and treasury functions, the release said.

He facilitated the medical center’s integration policy in 2010, served as the company’s main liaison to investors and financial industry representatives, and took primary responsibility for the center’s $1.6 billion investment initiative.

Clark has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Appalachian State University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
