Precision for Medicine expanding oncology services in Europe

Precision for Medicine's Precision Oncology department is expanding operations across Europe, the company said in a news release.

While Precision Oncology is based in Paris, it has people working in five European Union countries, as well as in Edinburgh, Scotland. The organization hopes to have people working in eight countries by next year.

Clare Sarvaray Fourrier, the company's senior vice president of clinical operations for Europe, and Andrea Cotton-Berry, head of business development and strategic operations for the European Union and the Asia-Pacific region, are guiding the leadership team. Before coming to Precision, both Fourrier and Cotton-Berry worked in leadership positions aimed at building up of early oncology medicines.

Precision's Oncology Site Network right now has more than 20 cancer treatment centers in Western Europe, and the company hopes it will have 40 network sites in Europe by next year. The current network allows it to start oncology medicine tests faster, to have ongoing communication with clinical experts in oncology and to get the sites more involved in the development of oncology medicines.

Precision's focus is on developing treatments fueled by biomarkers.
