Ten Physicians Awarded by American Stroke Association for Contributions

The American Stroke Association will honor 10 physicians for their contributions to stroke research during the International Stroke Conference 2017 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. 

The physicians to be honored are: 

***E. Clarke Haley Jr., University of Virginia, with the David G. Sherman Award.

***Jaroslaw (Jarek) Aronowski, McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, with the Tomas Willis Award.

***Steven Greenberg, Harvard Medical School, with the William M. Feinberg Award.

***Louise McCullough, McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, with the Stroke Research Mentoring Award.

***Kevin Sheth, Yale School of Medicine and Yale New Haven Hospital, with the Stroke Care in Emergency Medicine Award.

***Steven Cramer, University of California, Irvine, with the Stroke Rehabilitation Award.

***Jennifer Dearborn-Tomazos,  Yale School of Medicine, with the Vascular Cognitive Impairment Award.

***Yejie Shi, University of Pittsburgh, with the Mordecai Y.T. Globus Award.

***Alessandro Biffi, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, with the Robert G. Siekert Award, and

***Yao Yao, University of Minnesota, with the Stroke Basic Science Award.
