The American Society for Nutrition announced on July 28 that its flagship annual meeting, NUTRITION 2027, will be held July 26-29, 2027, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The society also said that NUTRITION 2028 will take place in Boston from June 10-13, as part of ASN's centennial celebration.
The milestone meeting in Boston will return to the city where the inaugural NUTRITION meeting was held a decade earlier. ASN said this move honors the event's origins while celebrating a century of advancing nutrition science.
Since its launch, NUTRITION has become a major gathering for the global nutrition community. The meeting brings together scientists, clinicians, public health professionals, policymakers and others involved in advancing nutrition science. It features developments across clinical, basic, translational and population health research.
NUTRITION 2027 is expected to continue ASN's tradition of presenting new scientific findings and providing opportunities for learning and collaboration. John Courtney, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of ASN, said: "Las Vegas provides a dynamic setting for NUTRITION 2027 as ASN convenes diverse perspectives and disciplines shaping the future of nutrition science. As ASN approaches its centennial in 2028, NUTRITION 2027 will recognize the scientific achievements that have shaped the field while looking ahead to the next century of discovery, innovation, and impact."
Abstract submissions for NUTRITION 2027 are scheduled to open this fall. Award nominations through the ASN Foundation will begin in September and include recognition such as Distinguished Fellows—the society’s highest honor—and Excellence in Nutrition Fellows awards.
