NYU Langone Health announced on July 24 the opening of NYU Langone Ambulatory Care—Fort Hamilton, a new multi-specialty practice located at 437 88th Street in the Fort Hamilton neighborhood of Brooklyn. The facility consolidates physicians and advanced practice providers from several existing locations into one centralized site to improve patient access to a range of healthcare services.
The new center offers routine and specialized gynecologic care, family planning services, maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, urology, uro-oncology, and endourology. The goal is to provide comprehensive care options closer to home for residents in the area.
NYU Langone Ambulatory Care—Fort Hamilton joins an expanding healthcare hub in southwest Brooklyn. It is complemented by NYU Langone Brooklyn Medical Arts Pavilion next door—which provides primary care and specialty services—and NYU Langone Radiology—Fort Hamilton located directly across the street.
Many physicians practicing at the new location will also perform surgical procedures at an ambulatory care center scheduled to open this fall in Sunset Park. This upcoming facility will offer ambulatory surgery services as well as house physician practices, Perlmutter Cancer Center, and Family Health Centers at NYU Langone Health within its 120,000-square-foot space situated across from NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn.
The expansion aims to create a seamless continuum of care for patients from office visits through treatment and recovery.
