Submissions open for 7th Annual Hearing Technology Innovator Awards

Hearing Health & Technology Matters announced on June 29 that it is accepting submissions for the 7th Annual Hearing Technology Innovator Awards, an international program recognizing technological innovation and achievement in the hearing industry.

The awards honor products, services, and technologies that advance hearing healthcare through innovation, accessibility, and improved patient care. This year’s competition will recognize excellence in eight categories: Hearing Aids; Personal Listening Devices; Assistive Technology and Software; Service Delivery; Equipment; Auditory Implants; Hearing Conservation; and Therapeutics.

All eligible entries will be presented for public voting. The hearing healthcare community will have two weeks to vote for the most innovative technologies. Submissions receiving the most votes in each subcategory will be named winners.

An international panel of expert judges will select the prestigious Innovator of the Year award from among the subcategory winners. Judging criteria include innovation, effectiveness, efficiency, and utility.

Winners are scheduled to be announced in October during the Academy of Doctors of Audiology AuDacity 2026 conference at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The program has raised more than $35,000 for nonprofit organizations supporting research and improving lives related to hearing loss and tinnitus through participation by companies and sponsors.

Companies interested in participating can submit their products by July 20.
