Critical Path Institute announced on June 10 that registration is open for its 2026 Global Impact Conference, scheduled to take place in September at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center in Washington, D.C. The conference will run from Sept. 15-16, with a dedicated working session on Sept. 17 focused on One to Millions, an initiative aimed at advancing therapies from individualized breakthroughs to scalable global solutions.
The event will bring together leaders from regulatory agencies, industry, academia, advocacy organizations, and individuals with lived experience for working sessions addressing challenges in current drug development. The conference centers on establishing a new paradigm for how evidence of efficacy and safety is generated, interpreted, and acted upon.
Keynote addresses are scheduled from Michael Davis, M.D., Ph.D., acting director of the Food and Drug Administration's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research on Sept. 15, and Janet Woodcock, M.D., former principal deputy commissioner of the FDA on Sept. 16.
The agenda includes sessions examining priorities such as artificial intelligence and real-world data use in evidence generation, digital health technologies and endpoint measures derived digitally, biomarker development including neuroimaging biomarkers in early-stage development, post-approval evidence generation strategies, trust and transparency in data sharing for individualized therapies, breakouts focusing on lived experience within regulatory contexts across therapeutic areas, as well as discussions about advancing new approach methodologies as drug development tools.
On Sept. 17, there will be a dedicated session centered around C-Path's One to Millions initiative to modernize how individualized therapies are developed and reimbursed at scale.
C-Path invites partners across regulatory agencies; pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies; academic institutions; advocacy groups; payors; patients; caregivers; nonprofit representatives; credentialed media; and other stakeholders to participate this September. Attendance is complimentary for certain professionals while standard fees apply for others.
