Several major life sciences companies are offering new employment opportunities in Cambridge, Massachusetts, according to a Mar. 11 announcement. The city, recognized as a significant hub for the industry and home to organizations such as Intellia Therapeutics, Moderna, and MassBio, is seeing an increase in available positions despite a slight year-over-year dip in job postings.

AbbVie is seeking candidates for positions including principal research scientist II-AI/ML partnerships, senior scientific director in oncology clinical development (hematology), and associate scientist II specializing in transcriptional profiling. Amgen is recruiting for an undergraduate intern focused on process development at its pilot plant.
Intellia Therapeutics currently has over 50 openings, with roles such as director of healthcare compliance, strategic account liaison for the Northeast region, and senior manager of commercial performance and analytics. Moderna lists around 30 available positions including director of cancer vaccine research, scientist specializing in platform and TA bioinformatics, and principal scientist for protein design.
Regeneron is also hiring for multiple roles such as senior manager for clinical study lead (genetics medicine, hepatology), director of corporate counsel-privacy/transactions, and director of program operations leader-immunology, inflammation, infectious disease. Takeda offers more than a dozen positions including manager of state government and external affairs, senior manager of manufacturing science (MSAT)-drug substance (small molecules), and head of global data dissemination.
These job openings reflect ongoing demand for skilled professionals within Cambridge’s robust life sciences sector.
