British Rhinological Society announces fellowship grants and travel prizes for 2026

The British Rhinological Society (BRS) has announced the availability of its 2026 Fellowship Grants and Video Prizes, which are intended to support professional development among trainees and SAS doctors in the field of rhinology. These awards are organized in partnership with ENT UK.

According to the announcement, the BRS will provide two Travelling Fellowships worth £1,500 each for BRS trainees and SAS members. These fellowships aim to facilitate visits to international rhinology centers, offering opportunities for exposure and learning.

The grant program also includes ten Introductory Grants of £500 each for FY2-STS trainees and SAS doctors who have not yet completed their FRCS. Additionally, eight Advanced Grants valued at £1,000 each are available for ST6-ST8 trainees, post-CCT fellows, and SAS doctors who have completed their FRCS.

In terms of educational resources, the BRS is awarding Video Prizes with a first prize of £250, a second prize of £200, and a third prize of £150. Four additional grants of £500 each will be provided to help trainees affected by recent Integrated Care Board (ICB) funding withdrawals attend a functional nasal surgery course.

The BRS Council has unanimously supported this initiative. The grants and prizes are open to BRS members, including those who joined through ENT UK membership.

Applications must be submitted by email to education@entuk.org along with a CV and a 300-word personal statement by Monday, February 16, 2026.
