Live job postings in the biopharma sector increased for the second consecutive month in November, according to BioSpace. The rise was observed across key disciplines such as research and development, clinical, manufacturing and production, and sales and service.
Clinical job listings saw a 21% increase compared to October 2025. Manufacturing and production postings rose by 6%, while sales and service listings went up by 9%. Research and development jobs posted a 5% increase.
Alongside the growth in job postings, application rates also climbed during November. Applications for research and development positions increased from 12.4% in October to 15.4% in November. Clinical roles saw applications rise from 11.9% to 14.5%. Manufacturing and production experienced an increase from 13% to 17%, while sales and service applications grew from 11.3% to 13.4%.
BioSpace noted that there have been some indications that the job market could improve further in 2026, although a slowdown is expected in December due to the holiday season.
