Baylor Medicine Orthopedics and Sports Medicine has opened a new clinic in Sugar Land, Texas. The facility is now accepting new patients and offers services in general orthopedics, sports injuries, and specialized care for foot and ankle conditions.
The clinic’s team includes Dr. Michael Maier, orthopedic surgeon and assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine; Dr. Pooja Prabhakar, orthopedic surgeon and assistant professor specializing in foot and ankle care; and John Teal, physician assistant and instructor at Baylor.
According to the announcement, “Baylor Medicine Orthopedics and Sports Medicine offers non-operative and surgical care for injuries and disorders of the bones, joints and ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves.”
The clinic is located at 14090 SW Freeway, Suite 130, Sugar Land, TX 77478. It operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with appointments available by calling 713-986-6016.
Baylor Medicine Orthopedics and Sports Medicine functions as the clinical practice of the Joseph Barnhart Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.
