More than 275 individuals gathered at the American Lung Association in Missouri's Evening of Promise Gala, held at Busch Stadium, to support lung health initiatives. The event on June 12 raised nearly $200,000 to combat lung disease.
Participants enjoyed local cuisine, drinks, and music while engaging in silent and live auctions aimed at funding research, programs, education, and advocacy for lung health. Keynote speakers and local advocates shared inspiring stories with attendees.
“It was an unforgettable evening. We are so grateful for everyone in the community plus our sponsors who came out to support us and lung health,” stated Brett Schuette, executive director of the Lung Association in Missouri. “The funds raised will help more than one million Missourians living with lung disease.”
