Baylor Medicine Orthopedics and Sports Medicine has inaugurated a new orthopedic clinic at Kirby Glen, now open to patients. This location also provides physical and occupational therapy services.
The clinic offers a range of services in general orthopedics and sports medicine. Dr. Phillip Williams, an orthopedic surgeon and assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine, along with Amber Breindel, an instructor and nurse practitioner in orthopedic surgery at Baylor, are the primary practitioners at this facility. Additional specialists are anticipated to join later in the year.
“The opening of our Kirby Glen clinic location represents an important step in expanding access to comprehensive orthopedic care for our Houston community,” stated Dr. Douglas R. Dirschl, professor and chair of the Joseph Barnhart Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Baylor. “By integrating our clinical services with our existing physical therapy location, we're creating a seamless care experience that better serves our patients’ needs.”
The clinic offers both non-operative and surgical treatments for various injuries and disorders related to bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves.
Located minutes away from Baylor Medicine’s McNair Campus at 2457 S. Braeswood Blvd., Houston, Texas 77030, the clinic features first-floor access and free parking. For appointments or inquiries call 713-986-6016.
