American Lung Association seeks runners for 2025 Paris Marathon team

The American Lung Association is inviting runners to join its team for the 2025 Paris Marathon, scheduled for Sunday, April 13. With limited bibs available, the association encourages dedicated athletes to participate and support lung health and clean air initiatives.

After a successful participation in the Berlin Marathon in 2024, the American Lung Association is expanding its international presence by offering exclusive entries for marathons in Paris, Sydney, and Berlin this year. The current focus is on recruiting runners for the Paris event, which offers a unique opportunity to explore one of the world's most renowned cities while contributing to a significant cause.

"This opportunity is ideal for experienced endurance runners and those passionate about running tourism who are seeking a meaningful way to combine athletic achievement with global advocacy," stated an announcement from the association.

Funds raised through participation in the Paris Marathon will aid the Lung Association's efforts to combat lung cancer, promote clean air, alleviate lung disease burdens on individuals and families, and strive towards a tobacco-free future.

For those interested in combining their passion for running with advocacy work while experiencing Paris, further information can be found through the American Lung Association.
