The American Lung Association in Greater Chicago will honor several women leaders and mothers at the 2024 Outstanding Mother Award Dinner. The event, presented by University of Chicago Medicine, celebrates mothers as mentors, guardians, leaders, supporters, and caregivers. It also highlights professional development for women and recognizes four female business leaders from the Chicagoland area.
Scheduled for November 12, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the black-tie event will take place at The Ivy Room in Chicago. The dinner aims to celebrate motherhood by acknowledging women who balance demanding careers with family responsibilities and community service.
"The festive event raises awareness and supports the professional development of women while also raising critical funds for the Lung Association’s life-saving work in the fight against lung disease," states a representative from the organization.
