Next month, hundreds of Missourians will showcase their skills at metro St. Louis’ first Pickleball Tournament. The American Lung Association of Missouri’s Emerging Leaders are organizing the event at Chicken N Pickle in St. Charles on Saturday, September 14th. Approximately 818,000 people in Missouri suffer from lung disease, and funds raised at the tournament will support lifesaving research and early detection initiatives in the state. The event is open to players of all skill levels with single-player tickets priced at $50 and team tickets for two available for $100.
“This is a thrilling new opportunity for our Emerging Leaders to raise awareness about the mission of the American Lung Association which is to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease,” said Clare LaBlance, Emerging Leaders Vice-Chair for the Lung Association in Missouri. “We’re excited to be part of this fun event and help Missourians breathe easier.”
