Eleos Health introduces Eleos Outreach, an AI service to 'make a difficult and mentally draining job more manageable'

Eleos Health has announced the launch of "Eleos Outreach," an augmented intelligence service that will aid traveling mental health care providers by analyzing notes, identifying patterns and incorporating click-to-text functionality.

According to Cision PR Newswire, Eleos Outreach will condense the note-writing process by allowing providers more time to focus on patients, rather than administrative work.

"The mental health community needs a new way of operating that addresses immediate case management, documentation, administration and community outreach demands," Alon Joffe, CEO and Cofounder of Eleos Health, told Cision PR Newswire. "Eleos is purpose-built for behavioral health professionals by people who understand what it's actually like to be on the front lines. Starting with our first Scribe offering, to where we are now assisting case managers in the field, we'll continue innovating to serve some of the most important roles in our health care system."

Eleos Outreach is intended to ease the workloads mental health care providers face and reduce the high levels of burnout in the field. More than 50% of behavioral health providers reported burnout symptoms, which contributes to an annual turnover rate of 30 to 60%, according to Cision PR Newswire.

Burnout also extends to case managers and community outreach providers in the field, and Eleos Outreach aims to help more caregivers perform the crucial role field providers serve with underserved or marginalized patient populations.

Eleos Outreach was designed specifically for field-based managers and community outreach care providers who travel to treat their clients. A web-based application is accessible from any device using a secure link and is aimed at reducing documentation time by more than 80%, while allowing for a 64% faster note completion rate.

Outreach leverages AI to analyze previous notes, recognize patterns and incorporate click-to-text functionality, making note writing an easier process with a series of personalized questions converted into clinical language that automatically populates EHR (electronic health records) fields. This tool also helps organizations reduce revenue lost to undocumented billable activities by streamlining the documentation process.

TRILOGY, a nonprofit behavioral health care organization, has become the first mental health organization to implement Eleos Health's Outreach tool for its clinicians, allowing remote providers to easily and quickly document their work, streamlining their workflows and enhancing their ability to provide quality care.

"Prior to Eleos Outreach, 37% of our pilot group's notes were being documented outside of business hours," Amanda Ranking, Chief Operations Officer at TRILOGY, told Cision PR Newswire. "A single note that would have taken 10 to 20 minutes to write now takes two to six minutes, and it can realistically be done between appointments. This gives staff significant time back in their day and makes a difficult and mentally draining job more manageable."
