• Greg Caesar and other PXEngagement leadership enjoyed meeting with friends from Acclarent, Stryker, Fiagon, Optinose, Aerin, 3-D Matrix, and Regeneron at the Snot Force conference in Louisville.
• Medical professionals and commercial partners discussed innovative treatments for airway disorders.
• PXEngagement provides benefits for both practices as well as patients.
Greg Caesar is senior partner and director of business development at PXEngagement, a platform that enables health care professionals to communicate with patients.
Caesar said PXE's platform is beneficial to both patients and physicians. Physicians can reach out to patients and remind them to schedule appointments, and patients are able to do so through a user-friendly digital interface.
“PXEngagement was a Bronze level sponsor of Snot Force’s second annual Sinus, Allergy and Airway Symposium," Caesar told Patient Daily. "While in attendance we met with like-minded commercial partners and thought-leading physicians focused on assisting patients suffering with sinusitis, allergy and airway disorders. It wasn’t all work and no-play - a break in the meeting for fellowship with a quick trip to Heaven Hill distillery allowed for great conversations on the ride and good education as the group sampled some of Kentucky’s finest bourbons. When we speak with Physician Practices, they agree - there is a gap where patients slip through the cracks. They want to help these patients and are very interested in PXE’s very reasonably priced technology that is well-worth the investment.”
PXEngagement leadership attended Snot Force Alliance's second annual Sinus, Allergy and Airway Symposium, where they met with commercial partners and other industry leaders and discussed innovative treatments for patients suffering from sinus and allergy problems and other airway disorders. Caesar and other PXEngagement leaders said they enjoyed speaking with friends, including Nick Mabry from Acclarent, Todd Hirsch from Aerin, DeAnn Kenehan and Nikki McCann from Optinose, Amanda Peppers from 3-D Matrix, and John Swickrath from Stryker ENT.
Dr. Dareen Siri from Midwest Allergy Sinus & Asthma in Springfield, Illinois, spoke about treatment of nasal polyps using XHANCE during a sponsored breakfast symposium. Other topics covered at the conference included office-based sinus surgery, treatments for nasal valve collapse, chronic rhinitis and GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease). The conference attendees enjoyed a break in the meeting for fellowship with a quick trip to Heaven Hill distillery, where the group was able to sample and learn about some of Kentucky's bourbons.
Dr. Larry Borish gave the keynote address at the conference. The event took place in Louisville at the end of October.
