Chipotle introduces virtual mental wellness platform 'to foster a continual culture of well-being' for employees

Chipotle recently announced a partnership with Aduro for the launch of a new wellness platform called "Strive" that will focus on proactive employee well-being, according to Cision PR Newswire.

According to Marissa Andrada -- Chipotle's Chief Diversity, Inclusion and People Officer -- Strive's goal is to facilitate a long-term culture that improves the quality of life for all staff.

"Understanding how employees leveraged our mental health benefits throughout the pandemic inspired us to partner with Aduro for the launch of this new platform," Andrada told Cision PR Newswire. "By offering access to a personal wellness coach, individualized content and solutions for self-care, our goal is to foster a continual culture of well-being for all employees."

Strive will reportedly offer one-on-one coaching and assistance to Chipotle workers to help them set well-being goals that are specific to their needs.

Additionally, Chipotle Rewards members will receive a push notification encouraging them to "check in on someone today" on Mental Health Action Day, Thursday, May 20, to highlight the importance of mental health to Chipotle's guests.

Strive's launch also extends Chipotle's current mental health services, which include in-person, phone or interactive consultation sessions with a licensed counselor via a collaboration with Health Advocate, regardless of whether employees are covered by the company's medical plan.
