Merck has launched a digital component to its campaign to improve outcomes for people suffering from infectious diseases, the company announced recently.
ILÚM Health Solutions offers "enterprise-wide disease
management tools and services," working independently from the
company's vaccine and pharmaceutical products businesses, Merck said.
“We are pleased to offer ILÚM in the United States as a way to
strategically partner with health systems to fight infectious
diseases and combat the threat of antimicrobial resistance,” Guy
Eiferman, managing director of Merck’s Healthcare Services &
Solutions (HSS) group, said.
