Study explores how patients feel about clinical research

The nonprofit Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP) recently began releasing the results of its 2015 global Public and Patient Perceptions & Insights study, which looked at how patients feel about clinical research and its results.

The results were unveiled in an Oct. 28 webinar headed by CISCRP Founder and Board Chair Ken Getz. The webinar was followed by press conferences and individual company meetings.

Over 12,000 respondents of various ages, races, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds from locations around the world were involved in the 2015 CISCRP Perceptions & Insights study.

CISCRP said it will be publishing the results of the study in a variety of special reports, peer-review journals and medical press articles later this year and into 2106.

CISCRP also said it will be offering onsite company roundtable discussions about the study later this year and through 2016.

To inquire about hosting a roundtable, contact Ellyn Getz at ellyngetz@ciscrp.org.
