Mayo Clinic regional vice president: ‘Earning Magnet designation is an extraordinary achievement’

Mayo Clinic Health System in Northwest Wisconsin has been awarded the esteemed Magnet Designation, a recognition that underscores the quality and excellence of its hospital services and nursing care. The prestigious designation is given by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to healthcare institutions that meet and exceed stringent benchmarks for patient care.

"Earning Magnet designation is an extraordinary achievement. It recognizes the professionalism, skills and leadership of Mayo Clinic Health System nurses and their vital importance to the organization. We could not be prouder of our nurses for earning this recognition.", said Richard Helmers.

The Magnet Designation, introduced by ANCC, serves as a gauge for multiple factors such as patient care quality, cross-specialty coordination, and efforts aimed at enhancing care delivery.
