UnitedHealthcare, the nation’s largest health insurer, has quit the Illinois Obamacare exchange, a move that will leave consumers in its wake searching among fewer policy choices, while seeing higher costs and less competition from other insurers.
The Affordable Care Act (AFA) promised to provide affordable health care to
all enrollees. Instead, many insurance companies have grown increasingly concerned
with the high medical costs and low enrollment in the marketplace, and warn
that Obamacare is unsustainable.
