Murphy calls attention to superbug concerns

Rep. Tim Murphy (R-PA), chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, was recently on "Full Measure" with Sharyl Attkisson to bring attention to superbugs, a growing public health threat.

This comes in the middle of the #Path2Cures, which is a campaign to deliver cures and cutting-edge treatments.

“Superbugs, which are antibiotic-resistant bacteria, are the greatest infection threat in our country right now,” Murphy said. “Far more people die of infections that can’t be treated than people die of AIDS. The other thing about this is that it’s getting worse. We don’t have cures for this and people better start paying attention.”

More information about superbugs can be found online.
