Bayada furthers partnership with ALS Association to offer patients support

Leaders at Bayada Home Health Care and The ALS Association have chosen to continue their partnership in order to offer people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) more support.

The goal of the partnership is to give ALS patients more and better resources for dealing with their illness. Such resources include the 2016 ALS Association Clinical Conference, which takes place in November, where experts exchange ideas and insights into ALS.

“We greatly appreciate Bayada's ongoing support,” Barbara Newhouse, ALS Association president and CEO, said. “Their continued collaboration with us will allow our organization to get closer to our vision of creating a world without ALS.”

With the partnership intact, scientists are better able to collaborate over their research.

“As our partnership has continuously grown over the last three years, we have worked together toward many important initiatives, including supporting research, improving care to our clients and bringing increased awareness to this terrible disease,” Mark Baiada, founder and president of Bayada Home Health Care, said. “Through the creation of industry-leading ALS caregiver training and education programs, Bayada remains committed to supporting the mission of The ALS Association and to providing the highest quality care at home for people with ALS and their families.”
